Meet the newest Champion at Winfree!!!  Number 47!!!!  Nickie finished her title on August 9, 2008, at the Carolina Kennel Club show in Greensboro, NC.  Showing to Judge Mrs. Paula Hartinger, Nickie went Winners Bitch for a 3-point major to finish.  The show was held at the Greensboro Coliseum Complex.  We are very excited and our thanks to Judge Hartinger for recognizing our special tri-girl.

We're almost there!!!  Nickie picked up additional points at the Alamance Kennel Club show in North Carolina.  On March 22 showing in the Bred by Exhibitor class, Judge Robert Ennis awarded Nickie Winners Bitch for 2 points.  This show was part of the 2007 Spring Tarheel Cluster shows held in Raleigh, NC at the NC State Fair Grounds.  Her point total is now 13, including one major win.

Nickie made her spring 2007 debut at the Maryland Sporting Dog Association shows.  Entered in the Bred by Exhibitor class on March 4 and showing to Judge Rita Bell, Nickie went Winners Bitch/Best of Opposite Sex for one point, bringing her point total to 11.  The show was held at the Charles County Fairgrounds in Bel Alton, MD.

The above picture is our Nickie after winning Reserve Winners Bitch on October 29, 2006 at the Mason-Dixon ECS Club Specialty.  Judge David Flanagan did the honors.  This was a huge entry and we are very proud of Nickie.  This show was held in conjunction with the Middleburg Kennel Club back-to-back fall shows at the historic Oatlands Plantation near Leesburg, VA.

Nickie has her first major!!!  On September 30, 2006 at the Warrenton Kennel Club-sponsored show, she went Winners Bitch/Best of Winners for a 3-point major!!!  Judging the show was Dr. Harry Smith; we extend our thanks to Judge Smith.  Nickie's point total is now 10.  This show was held at a new location--the historic Long Branch Farm in Millwood, VA, located in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley.

Seven points and counting!!  Nickie, as she is affectionally called, picked up two points at the 2006 Labor Day shows held in Raleigh, NC.  On September 3, showing to Judge David Markus, Nickie went Winners Bitch/Best of Winners for one point.  This show was sponsored by the Salisbury (NC) Kennel Club.  Then at the Raleigh KC-sponsored show on September 4, Judge Col. Jerry Weiss gave her Winners Bitch/Best of Opposite Sex for one point.  My thanks to the judges.  All the shows were held at the State Fair Grounds.

We're on our way!!!  At the shows in Bel Alton, MD just before Independence Day 2006, Nicole picked up 4 points, for a total of five.  First, at the Southern Maryland Kennel Club show on June 30, showing in the Bred by Exhibitor class, Judge Everett Dean awarded her Winners Bitch/Best of Winners for 2 points.  Then, on July 1, Judge June Penta gave Nickie Winners Bitch for 1 point.  This show was also sponsored by the Southern Maryland KC.  And, finally, showing to breeder judge Bonnie Threlfall on July 2, again in the Bred by Exhibitor class, Nickie went Winners Bitch/Best of Winners/Best of Opposite Sex for 1 point.  This show was sponsored by the Rock Creek KC.  What a reason to celebrate this July 4th!!!!

We have a winner!!!  Nickie went Winners Bitch from the Bred by Exhibitor class for her first point!  Judging the June 25th show sponsored by the Virginia Kennel Club was Mrs. Cindy Vogels.  The show was held at The Showplace in Richmond.

It was hot in Pinehurst, NC in June, as it usually is, but Nickie kept her cool and showed beautifully.  She won her 9-12 month puppy class both June 3rd and 4th shows, both sponsored by the Moore County Kennel Club.  In addition, on June 3rd, she won Best of Breed Puppy/Puppy Group 2!!!  Judges were W. Everett Dean, Jr. (3rd) and Michele Billings (4th).

Our Nickie is growing up.  She was in her first "shows", fun matches, the end of January 2006 and I couldn't be more pleased with the her entrance into the show ring.  On Saturday, January 28, she was Best of Breed Puppy and went on to win a Group 4.  On Sunday, she was Best of Breed Puppy again.  Saturday's judge was Tina Parker-Craig and the matches were held at the Merrimac Dog Training Club in Hampton, VA.  Keep your eyes on this beautiful tri-color girl.
