Ch. Winfree's Pullin Strings at Ashbrook
(Ch. Brasswinds Ego Trip x Ch. Winfree's Puppet on a String)

Meet "Pippin"!!!  The above picture was taken after her first show at the American Spaniel Club - English Cocker Spaniel Sweepstakes in January 2004.  At just 7 months young,  Pippin was 2nd out of 15 in sweeps and 3rd in the regular class (Judge D.W. Flanagan).  She is extra special, because she is from our first line breeding on her "Grandma Kitty" (Ch. Headwinds Kittyhawk, ECM).  Watch for this beautiful orange and white girl in the ring!!!

  • On May 8, 2004, at the St. Hubert Kennel Club show in North Stonington, CT, Pippin went Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex to pick up her first point.  We're very excited and bragging everywhere!!!!  Our thanks to Judge Dorothy Hutchinson.

  • On the hot and humid grounds of the Vacationland Dog Club show in Scarborough, Maine, Judge Elliot More awarded Pippin Best of Winners for a 4-point major.  This occurred on May 15, 2004, just one week after Pippin received her first point.  What an exciting week!!

  • Best of Breed!!!!!  That's what Judge Christine Pollender gave Pippin at the Hockamock Kennel Club show in Wrentham, MA on June 26, 2004.  This win was good for 2 points, giving her a total to date of 7 points.  Way to go Pippin!!!!!

  • Entered in the Naugatuck Valley Kennel Club show in West Springfield, MA on June 30, 2004, Pippin picked up a point after Judge Terry DePietro gave her Winners Bitch and then Best of Opposite Sex.

  • Pippin's done it again!!!!  Two days in a row at the Lakes Region Kennel Club shows (part of the New England Scenic Circuit) in Hopkinton, NH, Pippin went Best of Breed each day for one point each.  Day one, July 7, 2004, was under Judge Robert Slay and day two, July 8, was under Judge Dr. Robert Turton.  To date, Pippin has ten points including one major.  She needs only two singles and one major to finish.  Thanks Tracey!!

  • Going Best of Opposite Sex from the Bred by Exhibitor Bitches class, Pippin picked up another point bringing her one point and one major away from finishing.  Judge Carroll Stewart gave Pippin this win at the Pioneer Valley Kennel Club show in Greenfield, MA on July 31, 2004.  Thanks again, Tracey, for showing our girl so beautifully.

The date was August 1, 2004.  The location was Keene, NH.  The show was the Cheshire Kennel Club.  Judge Patricia Brenner also gave Pippin Best of Opposite Sex from the Bred by Exhibitor Bitches class (Tracey showing) for one point, inching her closer to finishing.  This win puts Pippin one major away from finishing her championship.

Meet Winfree's newest champion!!!!!  Tracey finished Pippin on Friday, August 13, 2004 by going Best of Winners at the Wachusett Kennel Club show  in Fitchburg, MA for a 4-point major, which is what she needed to finish.  Thanks to Judge James White for this exciting win.  Friday the 13th wasn't so bad at Winfree!!!!!
