Wizard finished his
Canadian Championship on September 28, 2008 at the Mt. Cheam Kennel Club
show in Chilliwack, BC!!!!! He won back-to-back BOB on the 27th
and the 28th (2 pts each day). The judges were Ms. Gwen
Johnston from New Zealand (Saturday) and Mrs. Sandy A. Gelinas from Ontario,
Canada (Sunday). Wahoo!!!!! |

On August 9, 2008, Wizard
went WD at the Victoria City Kennel Club show. Lancelot Heilmann of
Australia was today's judge. The show was held at the Saanich
Fairgrounds in Saanichton, British Columbia, Canada. |

Ania is listed in the Summer
2008 issue of the ECSCA Review as the Number One English Cocker
Junior Handler. Above, she is with Wizard after winning the Best Junior

first Best of Breed wins, both obtained at the 2-day Richland Kennel Club
shows. Judge on the left is Mr. Robert D. Ennis and the judge on the
right is Mr. Bernard Schwartz. The shows were held September 29 and
30, 2007 in Kennewick, WA. Handling Wizard is co-owner Ania Kelly. |

Say "Hello" to the newest Winfree Champion!!!!! At 14 months of age,
Wizard earned his championship title at the Spartanburg Kennel Club show on
July 29, 2007. Showing to Judge Gail S. Boyd, Wizard went WD/BOW for a
3-point major and the title. The show was held at the Carolina
First Center (formerly Palmetto International Expo Center) in Greenville,
SC. I can't say enough about this young boy. |

I am so proud of Wizard!! At the 2007
English Cocker Spaniel Club of America National Specialty in Wisconsin in
May, he was up against some tough competition and demonstrated he was up to
the challenge. He won First Place in Sweepstakes showing to Judge
Karen Roth and First Place in Regular Classes showing to Judge Sandra Olsen.
He then went on to win Reserve Winners Dog. Although no points are
associated with this win, it is quite a compliment because the total entry
for dogs was approximately 105!!!!! Thank you so much, Judge Olsen,

2007 Virginia
Memorial Day Cluster in Hampton, VA
On May 25, Judge Ann Hearn gave Wizard
Winners Dog/Best of Winners for 1 point. This same day, there
was a Best Puppy in Show competition. Wizard won Best Puppy/Group 4
placement under Judge Olga Gagne. Both the Breed show and the Best
Puppy competition were sponsored by the Gloucester Kennel Club. On May 26, Judge Peggy Beisel-MeIlwaine gave Wizard Winners Dog/Best of Winners for 2 points.
Show was sponsored by the Gloucester Kennel Club of Virginia. On May
28, Judge Charlotte Clem McGowan gave Wizard Winners Dog 2 points.
This show was sponsored by the Langley Kennel Club. Wizard was entered
in the 9-12 Months Dogs class for both shows. Point total is now 13.
He needs one more major to finish. |

On April 28, 2007 at the
Chesapeake VA Dog Fanciers Association show, Judge Susan Cascio gave
Wizard Winners Dog for 1 point. He was entered in the 9-12 Months Dogs
class Wizard also was awarded Best Puppy/Best Puppy Group 3 by
Judge Cascio. The show was held at the Chesapeake City Park.
Wizard's points total is now 8. |

Wizard has accumulated 6
more points, including a major!!!!! I am so proud of this boy.
On March 22 at the Alamance Kennel Club show, Judge Robert Ennis gave him
Winners Dog/Best of Winners for 2 points. Then, on March 24,
Wizard went Winners Dog/Best of Winners under Judge June Penta for a
3-point major!! And to top the weekend, Judge Susan St. John Brown
gave his Winners Dog for 1 point. This brings Wizard's point
total to 7. These shows were held in Raleigh, NC at the NC State
Fair Grounds and were a part of the 2007 Spring Tarheel Cluster.

Wizard has his
first point!! On
December 17, 2006, showing to Judge Jerry Clark in
the 6-9 month class, Wizard went Winners Dog for his first point.
He was also awarded Best of Opposite Sex. The show was part of the "The
Beach Holiday Classic" sponsored by the Tidewater Kennel Club of Virginia.
I'm so proud of this beautiful boy. He's off to a great start.
