"Nessy" is the puppy that we decided to keep from the last breeding of Winfree’s Tight Fitten Genes ("C.K."). Nessy’s sire is the beautiful and talented liver roan dog of Rene Fitch, ICh. MACH dyll Oxford Maximum ("Monster").

We were hoping to pull the liver color that is buried in the line of C.K., but we got all blue roans.  These little “monsters” were hard to let go!

Nessy is owned by Si and Linda Moss and co-owned with Winfree.  We look forward to Nessy and Si starting their show career this spring, and I hope to get to show Nessy on some special occasions.

With Nessy at one end of the lead and Si at the other end, Nessy won the Puppy Bitch Class and went Reserve under Judge W. Everett Dean, Jr. on April 17, 2004 at the Old Dominion Kennel Club show in Leesburg, VA.  Great going Si and Nessy!!!

Best Puppy in the Regular Classes!!!  That's the win given to Nessy by Judge John Gillespie (UK) at the 2004 ECSCA National held in Colorado Springs, CO.  Si, Linda, and I couldn't be more proud of our girl.

What a thrilling win at the New River Valley Kennel Club show in Salem, VA on August 1, 2004.  In Nessy's first outing since the National (see above), Nessy went Winner's Bitch and picked up a 4-point major from the Bred By Exhibitor class with me showing her (one of those special occasions I had hoped for).  Our thanks to Judge Houston Clark for this awesome win.  Si and Linda are still floating, along with Nessy, somewhere over Virginia!!!!!

Nessy stepped out in fine fashion at the Salisbury Maryland Kennel Club show November 6, 2004.  Judge Barbara Dzbinski gave Nessy a first place win in the 12-15 Month Bitches Junior Sweepstakes.  Si, Linda, and I send a "Thank You" to Judge Dzbinski.

Another terrific win for Nessy!!!  At the Liberty English Cocker Spaniel Fanciers Supported Entry, Nessy went Winners Bitch for a 5-point major!!!!!  Our thanks to Judge Harry Smith for this awesome win.  This Supported Entry was held on November 13, 2004 at The Kennel Club of Philadelphia show in Fort Washington, PA.

Today (December 3, 2004) at the Greater Hickory Kennel Club show in Winston-Salem, NC under Judge Valerie Foss, Nessy was Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, and Best of Breed for two more points.  Nessy now has 11 points (including 2 majors); only 4 more points to go!!!  Si is so excited and I am, too.

Our newest Winfree champion is our little "monster", Nessy!!!!  Nessy was Best of Opposite Sex both Saturday and Sunday (January 8 and 9, 2005) at the Deland, FL shows earning two points each day to finish her championship.  The judges were Frank Kane for the Greater Daytona Dog Fanciers Association show on Saturday and Marjorie Martorella for the Jacksonville Dog Fanciers' Association on Sunday.  We are so proud of Nessy and of Si and Linda for ushering yet another champion into the Winfree line.

Champion Nessy continues to prove herself worthy of her title by going Best of Breed at the Greater Fredericksburg Kennel Club on April 9, 2005.  The judge was Mrs. Robert Smith.  The show was held outdoors at the Fredericksburg Agricultural Fairgrounds in Fredericksburg, VA.  Our thanks to Judge Smith for this honor.

While it was chilly, windy, and rainy at the 2005 Cherry Blossom Cluster shows in Timonium, MD, Nessy was shining.  She went Best of Opposite Sex both Saturday and Sunday (April 23 and 24).  Judging for the Old Dominion Kennel Club of Virginia show on Saturday was Mrs. Marsha Hall Brown and judging for the Baltimore County Kennel Club show on Sunday was Mrs. Sari Brewster Tietjen.  Thanks to both judges for recognizing Nessy.

Well, it sure is hard to keep up with Miss Nessy!!  She took Best of Breed on April 30 and May 1, 2005 at the Chesapeake VA Dog Fanciers shows.  The judge on Saturday was Ms. Marjorie Martorella and Sunday was Mrs. Judy A. Doniere.  Our thanks to the judges.  Way to go, Nessy!!!
