Hi, Lisa
As promised, here are pictures of Oliver at 3. He is a wonderful boy and we
still adore him. We have had very loving dogs before, but he is the
best cuddler. He throws his body against ours a few times to get a good
"seal". You couldn't slip a piece of paper between us. It is comical.
He is so beautiful that he attracts compliments on our walks around the
neighborhood and into town. Some people stop their cars to look at him.
I hope that all is well there. Let us know if you have a show in the
Northeast.
Take care, Jeanne |

Oliver was born on February 9, so he was almost 5 months old in this

Dear Lisa
We just got back from vacation and I started
work today...the students won't start school until the 29th! I am just
checking email tonight...sorry for the delay in replying.
I will have to send another picture of
Oliver soon. He has grown so much...what a beautiful boy he is!...so good
natured...he loves us as much as we love him.
We started obedience training on Thursday
nights. I was training him at home, but I wanted to go to class to
provide distractions. I am only using his regular collar for training
and it is working out beautifully...he is really good at "Sit", "Watch
me", "Around" (from a sitting position, he gets up, walks around me, and
sits at my left side), walks on loose leash without pulling, "Forward",
and "Stand". We will continue with other commands in the next few weeks.
I think that he is doing a very good job, especially for a six-month old
puppy. Oh, I almost forgot the best part, if I sit on the floor and say,
"Cuddle time", he immediately jumps into my lap and "melts" right up
against me...what a sweetie...he loves all of us!
That's all the news for now--
Take care,
Jeanne

Here's the
first report on Oliver from the Cooks:
Hi, Lisa:
Oliver is a joy and we adore him! He is a
confident, happy, and sweet boy who has adjusted to our family easily.
He has made many new friends in the neighborhood, both human and canine.
For such a young puppy, he is doing a great
job on potty training. He has started to sit by the den door when he has
to go out. He seems to learn things very quickly and we are very
proud of him. He is also a wonderful cuddler. Although he has many
cuddly toys, he loves his family the best.
Thanks for the info on Oliver's sisters.
They look like very pretty girls from their pictures and we are sure that
they are making their own families very happy as well.
