	Winfree has a new Champion!!!!! Otis finished his championship on December 14, 2007 at the Space Coast Kennel Club of Palm Bay show in Orlando, FL. Showing to Judge C. P. "Skip" Herendeen, Lauren once again handled Otis beautifully. This show was part of the 3-day Orlando Cluster held at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. Thanks, Lauren. And thanks Charley and Gail for allowing Otis to earn his championship title, earning him a spot in a long line of Winfree champions.

	I don't know the details, but Otis has earned another point towards his Championship. Only one more point to go.

	Otis picked up 3 more points the weekend of the All Hallows Cluster in Marietta, GA. Showing to Judge Mrs. Michele Billings on Day 1 of the Griffin Georgia Kennel Club back-to-back shows, Otis went Winners Dog>Best of Opposite for one points. On Day 2, he went Winners Dog>Best of Winners under Judge Mrs. Helen Lee James for 2 points. Show dates were October 25 and 26, 2007. Otis' point total is now 13, including his 2 majors.

	Another 3-point major!!! Otis is on a roll and again handled by Lauren Ogburn. Entered in the 9-12 Months Dog class on April 13 at the Augusta Kennel Club show, Judge Lester Mapes gave Otis Winners Dog for the 3-point major. I am so excited. Otis hit the show ring in January at 7 months of age and has already accumulated 10 points, including 2 majors!!!! This show was part of the 2007 Spring Peach Blossom Cluster held at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in Perry, GA. Point total is 10, including 2 majors.

Otis is really shining in the capable hands of Lauren Ogburn. He now has his first major!! On March 10, 2007 at the first of the 2-day Hilton Head Island (SC) Kennel Club shows, Otis won Best Puppy and got a Group 4 placement under Judge Charles Trotter. On day two of the shows, showing to Judge Frank Washabaugh in the 9-12 Months Dog class, he went Winners Dog for a 3-point major. This makes a total of 7 points. Otis is about half-way towards his championship title at the young age of nine months!!! The 10^th Annual Hilton Head Island Kennel Club shows were held at the Coastal Discovery Museum on Hilton Head Island. Beautiful job, Lauren.

		Otis is well on his way!!! During the month of January 2007, he picked up 4 points. The first was January 5 at the Greater Daytona Dog Fanciers’ show in Deland, FL. Showing in the 6-9 Month Puppy Class, Judge Frank Sabella gave Otis Winners Dog for 1 point. On January 7 at the Jacksonville Dog Fanciers’ Association show, Judge Kimberly Meredith-Cavanna gave him Winners Dog and Best of Winners for 1 point. Then on to Ladson, South Carolina at back-to-back shows sponsored by the Charleston Kennel Club. Again in the 6-9 Month Puppy Class, Judge Cornelia Howard gave Otis Winners Dog and Best of Winners on January 27 for 1 point and Judge Norman Patton gave him Winners Dog on January 28 for 1 point. Handling Otis was Lauren Ogburn. Thanks Lauren; great job!! And thanks to all the judges.
